Vacuworx has embraced a Tulsa dirt track racing tradition, The Chili Bowl, by sponsoring the Vacuworx Invitational Race of Champions (VIROC) on the first night of the Midget Nationals event. The action packed 20 lap race showcases past Chili Bowl champions as well as past VIROC champions.
Held each year since 1987 at the Tulsa Expo Raceway (inside the Expo Center at the Tulsa State Fairgrounds), the Nationals was initially sponsored by the Chili Bowl food company. Now known simply as “The Chili Bowl,” the 5-day event is racing’s winter answer to football’s Super Bowl, drawing huge crowds of fans and competitors from across the United States and beyond! Vacuworx is also the presenting sponsor for the Friday night qualifying races.
